Cool Gift for Hockey Fans
Keep tabs on the NHL standings all season long (for diehard fans) as well as during the playoffs (for the average hockey fan) with this cool magnetic standings board. Of course, if the league expands to Saskatoon or Hamilton, you'll have to order a new logo magnet and find a spot for it somewhere on the board.

Good Stuff
This curry sauce is sold at Emerald Meats on Chandler Street. You mix it with water and bring it to a boil, then simmer it for 10 minutes. It's great served over fries.

Slacker Radio
I picked up a refurbished first generation Slacker dirt cheap off Woot!. Essentially, it's a combination of an MP3 player and the Sirius/XM service. The cheap model gives you 40 stations, all of which are programmed by professional DJs. You can choose from a selection of Rock, Rap, Country, Alt-Country, Indie, HipHop, College, Jazz, Blues, Standards, 70's Hits, 60's Hits, World Music, Dancehall, Classic Soul, Comedy, Reggae, Latin Hits, and more. You can also go to their website and add customized stations that Slacker users have programmed... like Aussie Rock or 90's Americana. The stations get refreshed with 8GB of new content every time you dock it to your computer. The service is free. Supposedly it's ad-supported, but I've yet to hear a single ad. You can find Slackers online for $40 bucks or less. I can't see Sirius/XM staying in business if this device catches on.

New Pringles
A cunning example of horizontal marketing. Pringles has simply combined two or more existing flavors for each of the "new" very special "restaurant cravers" flavors you see here. The onion blossom flavor is actually pretty good, though.

New Radio
This is the Grace Digital Radio I received for Christmas. It's amazing. Tens of thousands of stations. The radio has a small wifi antenna which accesses every stations internet stream and plays it in real time within seconds of punching it up. The Grace also plays all your favorite podcasts, all the internet-only radio stations, and all the audio files stored on your computer. It is an incredible piece of hardware.
